Smash The Bugs! Free Online Insect Hunter Game App

Hunt down the insects on your screen smashing them with your finger. Kill cockroaches, flies and spiders as quickly as you can to collect points. Prank your cat or other pets with this game: see if it triggers their predatory instinct.

Settings

There are many ways to customize the game in the panel above. Use the sliders to adjust the amount of bugs and their speed. Toggle the sound with the on/off icons. When the heart symbol ❤ is active the killed insects always resurrect. When the skull icon 💀 is on the smashed bugs disappear and they respawn all together when the last one of them dies.

By default the insects are taking chaotic turns but you can set them to flow only in one direction. In the first case the bugs bounce back when they reach the sides of the playing area while in the second case they show up on the opposite side when they leave the screen.

Change the game style playing with different insects: Cockroaches are the largest and they move slow so they are easy to kill (which is usually not true in real life). Spiders have a medium size and speed, while the small flies move the fastest so they are the hardest to catch.

Set the background texture of the game in the last set of tiles. There are four images available to choose from: canvas, corkwood, grass or solid grey. When you finished setting up your preferences close this panel and try to click/tap on a anything that's moving on your screen.

Scoring

The faster and smaller the insect you kill the more points you get. Catch two or more bugs with one click to gain extra. During the game your score always keeps dropping if you are inactive.

When the 💀 sign is on you will get a final score when you wipe out the field. It's easier to collect more points when the game is played with more and faster insects. Play two games in a row without changing the settings to measure your performance or to race fairly against your friends.
